Job Description McKesson & Healthcare Providers Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time, Member Services Representative II (MSR II) in Martinez, CA. Prior financial institution experience and cash handling experience is required. The position hours are Monday-Friday during normal business hours with federal holidays off. Summary The Member Service Representative II (MSR II) plays a key role in delivering exceptional member experiences by supporting loan origination, account services, and digital banking engagement. This position combines traditional frontline service with advanced technology tools to meet member needs in-branch, online, and over the phone. The MSR II serves as a trusted resource for members by providing financial solutions, assisting with digital services, and supporting lending and compliance processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned as business needs evolve. Lending Support • Review and process and loan applications through platforms and online member submissions., • Assist with digital loan workflows, e-signatures, and electronic document management., • Troubleshoot and resolve loan servicing issues, including misapplied payments or insurance claims., • Manage add-on products such as GAP, Mechanical Breakdown, and Payment Protection, including cancellations and compliance follow-up., • Prepare loan packages, verify DMV/title requirements, and disburse funds using automated systems., • Generate and review loan reports for accuracy and compliance., • Open new memberships and accounts while ensuring regulatory compliance (CIP, OFAC, etc.)., • Assist members with enrollment in online banking, mobile apps, e-statements, and remote deposit capture (RDC)., • Assist with debit card and check orders, ACH authorizations, and payroll set-ups., • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers via teller platform., • Support digital payment solutions such as Zelle, Bill Pay, and ACH transactions., • Handle Visa debit/credit services, including cash advances, disputes, and payment posting., • Process wire transfers, stop payments, and other high-risk transactions with appropriate security checks., • Respond to virtual branch inquiries, secure messaging, and video banking sessions., • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both in person and across digital channels., • Ability to cross-sell and educate members on MAHPFCU products and services to meet financial needs., • Knowledge of digital banking platforms, cybersecurity awareness, and fraud prevention practices., • Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing credit unions (NCUA, Reg. CC, Reg. E, Reg. Z, BSA/AML)., • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred., • 2+ years of financial services, banking, or credit union experience required., • Loan processing and new account opening experience strongly preferred., • Previous exposure to digital banking systems, CRM platforms, or fintech applications is a plus., • Language Ability: Effectively communicate complex financial concepts, respond to inquiries, and resolve complaints., • Math Ability: Perform loan payment calculations, payroll deductions, verify financial data, and balance cash drawer., • Reasoning Ability: Analyze problems, interpret data, and recommend solutions in lending and member service functions., • Computer Skills:, • Proficiency with MS Office and credit union core systems., • Ability to learn and adapt to financial industry software, CRM tools, and digital communication platforms., • Hybrid service model supporting both in-branch, phone, and digital interactions., • Moderate noise level; flexible and fast-paced work environment., • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally., • Frequent sitting, standing, and member engagement required., • High degree of concentration, patience, and resourcefulness needed to handle member inquiries and problem resolution. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25 - $28 per hour dependent on experience.
