Job Description Artificial Turf Supply, a subsidiary of Outova, is seeking a dynamic and self-driven Outside Sales Specialist to spearhead growth in our premium Artificial Turf product line. In this field-based role, you will lead all commercial sales efforts by prospecting, presenting, and closing deals. Position Overview: The Artificial Turf Outside Sales Specialist will lead commercial sales efforts for our premium line of artificial turf solutions. This role requires deep expertise in synthetic turf sales, and applications ranging from landscape to recreational projects. You’ll educate prospects on the performance, durability, and design advantages of artificial turf, positioning it as the complete outdoor solution. Key Responsibilities: • Leverage your existing client base while actively building and sustaining high-value partnerships with contractors, landscapers, hardscape and irrigation suppliers, landscape material suppliers, architects, and designers across the region., • Proactively generate leads, conduct on-site visits, and close sales across commercial projects and win commercial accounts., • Proven track record of closing deals and a strong, result-driven sales acumen., • Expand market share by actively prospecting and engaging in marketing initiatives such as lunch-and-learns, in-house events, hosting at the Design Center, and leveraging site visits., • Manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach and quoting to closing the deal and ensuring a smooth post-sale experience. While you’ll serve as the first point of contact, knowing when to escalate or delegate service-related issues is key to maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction., • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, operations, and product category managers to ensure smooth order fulfillment and consistent messaging., • Track activity and pipeline performance using CRM tools and sales reports. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or college coursework a plus, • 3-5 years’ experience with turf and/or landscaping commercial sales, • Working knowledge of one or more categories is a plus: artificial turf, hardscape, outdoor kitchens, or exterior construction products., • Confident, relationship-focused communicator with a customer-first mentality., • Knowledge of Cloud-based phone systems, • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote, or field-based environment, • Experience using CRM platforms and quoting software., • Comfortable balancing travel and field sales responsibilities while leveraging tools such as showrooms/ design centers to support the sales process. Key Competencies: • Strong communication skills, • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, • Excellent customer service skills, • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, • Strong organizational skills Physical Activities: Daily activity includes but is not limited to: • Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting., • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer., • Reading, communication, math., • Be able to occasionally lift/move up to 25lbs., • Frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers, headsets, phones, and webcams., • Ability to speak clearly and actively listen during extended phone and video calls., • Reliable internet and workspace for remote and field-based work.
