Job Description Job Title: Shop Technician Job Description As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for the repair, assembly, and maintenance of applicators and labeling equipment. This role requires diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring machines are built, tested, and maintained to the highest standards before deployment. Responsibilities • Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical issues to ensure optimal functionality., • Build applicators according to detailed configuration files, ensuring accuracy and performance., • Conduct functional tests to verify machine operation and compliance with specifications., • Modify equipment to meet evolving customer or operational requirements., • Test products on labeling equipment and document results for quality assurance., • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment., • Assemble and disassemble machines and skids for shipping, service, or reconfiguration., • Support space organization and inventory management within the shop and warehouse., • Load and unload machines for transport or internal movement., • Purchase hardware and supplies including tools, screws, and other shop essentials., • 1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, equipment repair, or related field., • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred., • Basic understanding of electrical systems, especially 24V systems., • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and configuration files., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality., • Excellent organizational and communication skills., • Familiarity with labeling equipment or packaging machinery is a plus.
