This role will deliver actionable insights that support organizational goals and strategic initiatives through interpreting and analyzing large data sets, assessing business operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing solutions to enhance efficiency, performance, and financial outcomes. The Performance Analyst will participate in scoping data projects for governance, assist in data quality issues, and own the relationship with the business. Performance Analyst II will research, analyze and build dashboards from the silver and gold layer of the Data Lakehouse. The Analyst will work closely with the Business Intelligence (BI) Product and Development teams on BI projects, collaborate with the Data Engineering team for data scoping, and engage with the Data Quality team for ongoing monitoring of data accuracy and timeliness. The Analyst will also serve as the primary point of contact with external hospital IT partners to resolve data quality and timeliness issues. Responsibilities include interpreting and analyzing large datasets, conducting comprehensive operational and financial modeling, identifying opportunities for performance improvement, and designing solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and financial outcomes. This position contributes to the success of the organization by ensuring a foundation of high-quality data, self-initiating analyses that improve clinical performance and business operations, while balancing a multitude of complex work assignments. The Details: 100% remote WFH In this role, you will be responsible for: • Extract, clean, interpret, and analyze complex datasets to provide clear, actionable insights to business leaders., • Assist operations in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and help drive improvement through actionable analytic insights., • Perform deep dive analyses, identify concerning clinical or operational trends, present findings through clear visualizations, reports, and executive summaries., • Analyze workflows, processes, and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements., • Collaborate with business units or clinical leaders to design and implement process enhancements that drive quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness., • Develop and enhance dashboards, based off analytic requests, following data governance guidelines, and automate those reporting solutions., • Assist in creating user stories and backlog refinement. Provide effort estimates to help in the Data Governance process., • Ensure all reporting and analysis meet data governance standards for accuracy, security, and compliance., • Assist in the user provisioning of dashboards, serve as SME for the business and self service groups, • Act as a subject matter expert for SoundInsights tools, educating and supporting regional teams in the interactive use of the platform and enable self-service., • Serve in data governance working group as a liaison between operational, clinical, financial, and IT teams to align data solutions with business needs., • Drive change management efforts when implementing new tools, processes, or data-driven initiatives. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Informatic Management, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field (master’s preferred), • Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik), • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, • Understanding of data structures & models, • Experience with performance management, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue cycle analysis in a healthcare environment preferred, • Familiarity with workflow/process mapping tools and methodologies., • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities., • Effective time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Proficient in telling stories with data. Getting across complex analysis in easy to under point that suggest actionable items for the business., • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally., • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical, business analytics, or related role—healthcare industry experience strongly preferred., • Knowledge of acute-care setting / healthcare provider key performance indicators preferred. Pay Range: • $85,000-$110,000 annually. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience, geographical location.
