Our challenge As a Production Support Engineer, the candidate will be responsible in Data investigations, application monitoring to assure system availability Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Dallas, TX is C $90k - $100k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: • Understanding and responding to user requests, • Data investigations, application monitoring to assure system availability, • Batch Monitoring, • Production incident handling, • Incident, Problem Change request management, • Incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action, • Triage incidents, take complete ownership accountability to ensure restoral of service/issue/failure, • Trouble-shooting application performance issues, • Application environment/infrastructure management, • Release process management., • Disaster recovery test coordination, preparation, and execution, • Metric Reporting, • Creating maintaining support documentation, • Contribute in building the knowledge base for the team, • Revisit the existing process need to provide inputs for improving the same., • Flexible to support on weekends/holidays and on ad-hoc basis, • 24x7 support of production applications on a rotating basis, and participate in resolution of escalated incident calls, • Provide regular communication to all the stakeholders., • Flexible to support on weekends/holidays/US shifts., • Strive towards process improvement and automation., • Application Lifecycle Management Requirements: • 6+ years of IT Experience in Production support for web based application developed in Linux/Unix, Oracle/ PL SQL, API, Hadoop and Informatica, • Knowledge of Autosys, Oracle/SQL, Unix/Linux, Scripting, Splunk, Dynatrace, Ansible Deployment, MuleSoft, cutover, • Ability to analyze and identify root cause of issues and have experience in diagnosing complex technical issues., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills., • Abilities to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, • Understanding of Incident, Problem and change management., • Automation skills to reduce manual activities, • Proven team player who can work comfortably in a multicultural environment, • Proven ability to work independently, multi task and effectively work in a complex environment with a global team structure, • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong influencer, facilitator, and collaborator., • Detail oriented and organized, • Must be pro-active, enthusiastic, flexible, results driven with attention to detail, • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, • Motivation to achieve results and the ability to quickly integrate into teams, • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and draw and defend results and conclusions, • Ability to work in a dynamic and team oriented environment, • Ability to balance a significant workload, prioritize and multi-task, • Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, JIRA and ITSM Remedy We offer: • A highly competitive compensation and benefits package., • A multinational organization with 60 offices in 20 countries and the possibility to work abroad., • 10 days of paid annual leave (plus sick leave and national holidays)., • Maternity & paternity leave plans., • A comprehensive insurance plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-/short-term disability (plans vary by region)., • Retirement savings plans., • A higher education certification policy., • Commuter benefits (varies by region)., • Extensive training opportunities, focused on skills, substantive knowledge, and personal development., • On-demand Udemy for Business for all Synechron employees with free access to more than 5000 curated courses., • Coaching opportunities with experienced colleagues from our Financial Innovation Labs (FinLabs) and Center of Excellences (CoE) groups., • Cutting edge projects at the world’s leading tier-one banks, financial institutions and insurance firms., • A flat and approachable organization., • A truly diverse, fun-loving, and global work culture.
