Position Overview As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) at ECC, you will practice from a systems-based lenssupporting clients not only as individuals, but within the relational, family, and broader systems that shape their lives. This role is designed for associates who are actively building clinical experience and seeking high-quality supervision, mentorship, and professional community within a collaborative group practice. You will work alongside experienced clinicians and supervisors in an environment that values learning, dialogue, and thoughtful clinical development. This position is ideal for associates who are passionate about relational healing, couples and family work, and growing their confidence and competence within a supportive, integrative clinical setting. Responsibilities • Provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families under LMFTA scope of practice, with a strong focus on relational dynamics and family systems, • Conduct biopsychosocial and relational assessments and collaborate with clients to develop treatment plans with supervisory support, • Participate in individual and group supervision toward licensure with experienced supervisors, • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards, • Engage in weekly case consultation and monthly team meetings to support learning, clinical growth, and collaboration, • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including counselors, social workers, psychiatrists, and integrative practitioners, as appropriate, • Adhere to Washington State LMFTA licensure requirements, ethical standards, and scope of practice, • Engage in ongoing learning, feedback, and professional development Our Approach to Growth, Feedback, and Learning We approach associate development through clear communication, consistent support, and shared responsibility. Growth is supported through: • Regular supervision and case consultation, • Quarterly check-ins Qualifications • Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field, • Active Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA) credential in Washington State, • Demonstrated interest or experience in couples and family systems work through a relational or systemic lens, • Working knowledge of DSM-5-TR and/or ICD-11 diagnostic frameworks, • Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical learning skills, • Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to culturally responsive care, • Comfort with EHR systems and clinical documentation, • Openness to building a caseload within a group practice setting with structured support, • Ability to provide telehealth services (preferred) Who Thrives at ECC Associates who thrive at ECC enjoy being part of a connected, collaborative team and value learning within relationshipnot isolation.
