Job DescriptionMaintenance Technician Pay: $30/HourLocation: Auburn, WA Overview The Mechanical & Robotics Technician plays a key role in supporting daily operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated machinery, robotic systems, and material‑handling equipment throughout the facility. This role involves hands-on work with conveyors, pneumatic components, and electromechanical systems, as well as guiding junior techs as they grow their technical skill set. Primary Responsibilities • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies and equipment procedures., • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document all work accurately., • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on material‑handling systems, including conveyors, motors, sensors, and control components., • Build strong working relationships with teams across the operations floor., • Organize and track spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies., • Work in a physically active environment that requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 lbs for extended periods., • Travel up to 20% as business needs require.Required Skills & Experience, • High school diploma or equivalent., • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays., • At least one year of experience using basic PC applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Preferred Qualifications, • Associate degree or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or related fields., • Two years of experience maintaining or repairing automated conveyor and control systems., • Two years of hands-on repair work with material handling or industrial equipment., • Experience performing predictive and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced environment., • Basic fabrication skills with metal and wood., • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams., • Working knowledge of electrical and electronic fundamentals., • Familiarity with OEM safety standards for MHE., • Experience using CMMS software for work orders and maintenance tracking.
