Benefits: • 401(k) with matching, • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package (for some PRN positions) Job Summary The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and administers therapeutic procedures in physical medicine and rehabilitation as prescribed by a referring physician. This role establishes individualized physical therapy goals, provides treatments, and regularly reassesses patient progress, documenting all findings accurately. Essential Functions • Conducts thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs and develops individualized treatment plans., • Administers safe and effective therapy treatments, ensuring all interventions are appropriately documented., • Reassesses and adjusts treatment plans within appropriate timeframes to align with patient progress and changing needs., • Provides clear, concise, and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information., • Educates patients and their families on treatment plans, therapeutic exercises, and post-treatment care to support long-term recovery., • Operates therapy equipment safely and maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff., • Collaborates with referring physicians, peers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of patient care., • Demonstrates population-appropriate competencies for all relevant patient demographics, tailoring care to individual needs., • Maintains compliance with facility policies, including safety, infection control, and risk management procedures., • Adapts to changes professionally and effectively, following the chain of command to address and resolve issues impacting patient care., • Performs other duties as assigned., • Complies with all policies and standards.Qualifications, • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required, • 0-2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities, • Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, therapeutic techniques, and safety standards., • Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations and develop effective treatment plans., • Proficiency in using therapy equipment and technology for documentation and billing., • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams., • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and maximize productivity., • Commitment to professional development and adherence to ethical and legal standards.Licenses and Certifications, • PT - Physical Therapist license in the state of employment required, • BCLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire requiredINDRESPTHER
