Job Description Summary Infant Educator (0–18 Months) Little Feathers Learning Center is seeking a compassionate, attentive, and dedicated Infant Educator to join our team. This role is centered on providing nurturing, responsive care that supports each infant’s unique needs, routines, and early development in a calm, loving environment. Our Infant Educators build strong, secure relationships with children through individualized care, gentle guidance, and meaningful connection. You will support feeding, sleep, diapering, sensory exploration, and early developmental milestones while partnering closely with families to ensure consistency between home and school. Duties Responsibilities – Infant Educator • Provide asafe, nurturing, and responsive environmentthat supports each infant’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs, • Follow and documentindividualized care plans, including feeding, sleeping, diapering, and comfort routines, • Maintain strict adherence tosafe sleep practices, sanitation procedures, and health guidelines, • Support early development throughage-appropriate sensory play, tummy time, and gentle exploration, • Build strong, trusting relationships with infants to promoteattachment, emotional security, and comfort, • Communicate daily with families through Kangarootime, includingfeeding logs, nap times, diapering, photos, and developmental notes, • Observe and track developmental milestones and share progress with leadership and families as appropriate, • Maintain aclean, calm, and organized classroom environmentthat meets licensing and safety standards, • Respond promptly and compassionately to infants’ needs, cues, and emotional signals, • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care and smooth classroom operations, • Uphold allNevada licensing, QRIS, and center policiesat all times Requirements Requirements Qualifications – Infant Educator • Must be18 years of age or older, • High school diploma or equivalent required (Early Childhood Education coursework or CDA preferred), • Must meet allNevada licensing, fingerprinting, and background check requirements, • Previous experience working withinfants (0–18 months)in a licensed childcare or early learning environment preferred, • Strong understanding ofinfant development, including feeding routines, safe sleep practices, sensory development, and early motor skills, • Ability to providenurturing, responsive, and consistent carethat supports attachment, emotional security, and individualized routines, • Knowledge of and commitment tohealth and safety standards, including diapering, sanitation, and safe sleep policies, • Comfortable following and documentingindividualized feeding, sleeping, and care schedulesfor each child, • Strong communication skills and ability to buildtrusting partnerships with families and team members, • Physically able to meet the demands of infant care (lifting, bending, standing, and active engagement), • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining aclean, calm, and organized environment, • Willingness to participate in ongoingprofessional development and required trainings Benefits Benefits of Joining Little Feathers Learning Center • Supportive, values-driven work environment that prioritizesrespect, positivity, and teamwork, • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact during a critical stage of early childhood development, • Accumulated Paid Time Off (PTO)that grows with your time and commitment, • Rest / Mental Health Daysto support work-life balance and overall well-being, • Approximately16 paid days off per year(including PTO, rest/mental days, and applicable holidays), • Ongoingprofessional development and trainingopportunities, • Career growthwithin a growing, community-centered learning center, • Discounted childcare for eligible staff families (if applicable), • Paid training and required certifications (as applicable), • Consistent scheduling within a nurturing, well-structured program, • Collaborative leadership that values educator input and recognizes dedication, • Work in a thoughtfully designed environment aligned withwhole-child development
