Job DescriptionDescription: JOB SUMMARY: This position is for on-call to cover vacations, callouts, etc. This is not a scheduled position. Prepares drink orders received from guests and cocktail servers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A review of this description has excluded the marginal functions of this job which are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an “at will” employment relationship. • Counts monies in the cash register at the beginning and end of shift at the vault., • Takes beverage orders from guests and cocktail servers., • Mixes drinks in accordance with drink recipes., • Collects payment from guests., • Gives change to guests desiring to play video poker machines at the bar., • Interacts with guests to provide good customer service and determines when guest(s) should not be served alcoholic beverages., • Prepares paperwork at end of shift, logging any repairs, and documenting any incidents or problems., • Collects cash from non-playing customers ordering drinks. Insures that comp’d guests are actively playing in the casino and reports drink scammers to the CSM., • Understands and complies with company policies regarding the comping of drinks to gaming customers., • Follows all State and Local laws regarding alcoholic beverages., • Understands and complies with all gaming regulations; internal controls; and departmental policies and procedures., • Maintains a valid AES card., • Occasionally required to perform cocktail server duties. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experi-ence. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and mainte-nance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: AA Card Nevada Gaming Card
