Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead complex construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for on-site leadership, ensuring quality, safety, schedule and budget compliance, and delivering projects in K-12 and healthcare environments. This role requires strong construction experience, excellent stakeholder communication, and proven ability to manage subcontractors, inspections and regulatory requirements specific to educational and healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day on-site leadership and supervision for large-scale construction projects, ensuring work is executed to plan, on schedule and within budget., • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and craft personnel; enforce quality standards and ensure adherence to contract documents and project specifications., • Develop, maintain and communicate detailed project schedules; identify critical path items and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays., • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company safety programs; lead daily safety briefings and conduct regular site inspections to maintain a safe work environment., • Collaborate with project management, owners, architects, engineers and inspectors to resolve issues, expedite approvals and maintain positive client relationships., • Oversee site logistics, access, material deliveries and staging to optimize productivity and minimize disruptions, particularly in occupied K-12 and healthcare facilities., • Manage inspections, testing and commissioning activities; document progress with daily reports, photographs and accurate as-built records., • Mentor and train field staff and junior superintendents; promote continuous improvement and best practices across projects., • Implement infection control, phasing and shutdown procedures required for work in operating healthcare facilities and occupied school campuses., • Minimum 10 years of commercial construction experience with progressive field leadership; at least 5 years as a Superintendent on large projects., • Proven experience managing projects in K-12 (schools) and healthcare environments, with understanding of phasing, infection control, and occupant safety requirements., • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling (CPM), quality control and regulatory compliance., • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and submittals., • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders including owners, architects and regulatory agencies., • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and coordinating trades in complex site logistics scenarios., • OSHA 30 certification preferred; healthcare-specific training (e.g., Infection Control Risk Assessment - ICRA) or similar preferred., • Valid drivers license; ability to work full-time on-site and travel between project locations as required., • Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, • Health Savings Account (HSA), • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), • Short/Long Term Disability (STD)/(LTD), • Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance, • Life Insurance, • 401(k) Plan with Company Match, • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), • Vacation Leave, • Paid Holidays, • Birthday Leave, • Continuing Education, • Professional Development, • Referral Bonus, • Tuition Reimbursement, • Mentorship Program - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
