Job Description Associate Director of Student Financial Services The Associate Director of Student Financial Services- Compliance provides strategic leadership in interpreting and implementing federal, state, and institutional financial aid regulations. The position primarily is responsible for providing compliance oversight of the Department of Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs. This position ensures the university’s financial aid operations meet all compliance requirements across Title IV Federal Student Aid programs, state-funded aid, and institutional programs. This includes reviewing and updating departmental procedures to reflect current federal, state, and institutional regulations; reconciliation of grant, loan, scholarship, and military programs; training staff and updating on changes in federal, state, and institutional regulations and performing compliance audits as needed. In addition, this position represents the financial aid department at various recruitment events. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, collaborative skills, and a deep commitment to compliance, equity, and student success. Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field. Excellent computer skills, strong experience in either financial aid or student accounts; experience with integrated LMS and/or financial aid packaging systems; demonstrated supervisory and team building skills; strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
