Job DescriptionNow Hiring: Maintenance Technician – Arlington, TX 76012 Pay: $25–$35+ per hour (based on experience) Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM About the RoleWe’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support equipment, facility, and vehicle maintenance and repairs at the world’s leading provider of heat treatment and specialist thermal processing services. This position plays a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards used in aerospace, automotive, energy, and defense industries. Key Responsibilities1. Equipment Maintenance & Repairs • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial furnaces, ovens, quench tanks, and thermal processing equipment., • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems., • Replace worn or damaged parts including bearings, seals, pumps, and motors.2. Preventive Maintenance (PM), • Follow scheduled maintenance plans to reduce downtime., • Inspect furnaces, cooling systems, gas lines, burners, and instrumentation., • Document PM tasks and track potential issues.3. Safety & Compliance, • Ensure equipment meets ISO, Nadcap, and AS9100 quality standards., • Follow OSHA, environmental, and company safety policies., • Perform proper lockout/tagout, confined space, and hazardous materials procedures.4. Troubleshooting, • Diagnose electrical issues (PLCs, wiring, sensors, relays, control panels)., • Resolve furnace performance problems (temperature uniformity, gas leaks, vacuum failures)., • Collaborate with engineering and production to minimize downtime.5. Facility Maintenance, • Maintain HVAC systems, compressors, boilers, and water treatment equipment., • Support plant utilities including air, water, and gas distribution.6. Documentation & Reporting, • Record activities in the company’s CMMS (maintenance management system)., • Report breakdowns, corrective actions, and recommend process improvements.7. Collaboration, • Partner with production operators, engineers, and quality teams., • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and calibrations.Skills & Tools, • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems., • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals., • Hands-on with welding, fabrication, and machining when needed., • Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and automation controls., • Skilled in using diagnostic tools: multimeters, vibration analyzers, thermal imaging cameras.Qualifications, • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred., • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience required., • Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and organizational skills., • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, databases)., • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in industrial environments.How to Apply, • Questions?
