Position Overview The Mammography Technologist plays a critical role in providing high-quality breast imaging services in accordance with American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and established clinical protocols. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical competency with genuine compassion and professionalism when working with patients. Key Responsibilities • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in alignment with ACR guidelines, • Obtain routine and additional imaging views while maintaining patient comfort and dignity, • Ensure image quality and accuracy prior to radiologist interpretation, • Guide and support patients throughout their visit with professionalism and empathy, • Accurately document procedures within the EMR/RIS system, • Collaborate closely with radiologists, sonographers, and clinical staff, • Participate in quality assurance and safety initiatives, • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, • ARRT (R) certification required, • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license required, • Mammography experience preferred (certification may be obtained within two years if not already held), • Comfort working in a specialized, high-quality breast imaging environment, • Strong communication skills and patient-centered mindset, • Work in a dedicated breast imaging practice — not a general hospital setting, • Supportive, stable team culture with long-tenured staff, • Structured workflow designed to prioritize quality over chaos, • Direct hire with strong benefits and long-term career growth potential, • Competitive hourly compensation based on experience, • Comprehensive benefits package including:, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Life and disability coverage, • Retirement plan
