This role includes machine setup, tooling preparation, reading blueprints, performing in-process inspections, and collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure quality and productivity standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities, • Set up and operate wire and/or sinker EDM machines, • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files, • Program EDM machines using G-code or conversational controls (Mitsubishi, Agie, etc.), • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to verify tight tolerances, • Maintain accurate documentation, including logs and inspection records, • Perform basic preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues, • Work collaboratively with engineers and quality assurance to resolve technical challenges, • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaQualifications and Requirements, • 2+ years of EDM operation experience (wire and/or sinker), • Proficiency in blueprint reading and machining specifications, • Experience with EDM programming software preferred (e.g., AutoCAD, BOBCAD, Mastercam), • Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools, • Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines, • Knowledge of various metals and materials (aluminum, titanium, steel alloys), • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in machining is a plusBenefits and Perks, • $60,000–$80,000/year base salary, • Medical, dental, vision, and 401K, • Paid holidays, • On-the-job training and long-term growth potentialYour New OrganizationFounded in 1967, the company is a leader in precision metal stamping, custom tooling, and complex manufacturing solutions.
