Location: 111 Hospital Drive, Utica, NY 13502 Start Date: September 29, 2025 End Date: December 27, 2025 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift – 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) Schedule: 36 hours/week – Block scheduling not guaranteed Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Unit: Emergency Room – MVHS-Wynn-ED (2000128) of Positions: 2 Position Overview: MVHS Inc. is seeking experienced Emergency Department RNs for a fast-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department. The ED includes specialized trauma, pediatric, psychiatric, and CDU spaces, and serves all age groups from newborn to geriatric. Candidates should be prepared to float within the hospital and ideally be charge-capable. Certifications Required: • Active New York RN License (must be verified on NURSYS), • BLS (AHA), • ACLS (AHA), • PALS (AHA), • NIHSS, • TNCCExperience Required:, • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience, • Pediatric experience required, • Travel RN experience strongly preferred, • EPIC charting system experience required, • Charge nurse capability highly preferredSubmission Requirements:, • Up-to-date resume showing relevant experience, • 2 recent ED RN references (Charge/Manager preferred), • Skills checklist for Emergency Nursing, • Valid driver’s license (address must match candidate's profile), • Active NY RN license + NURSYS verification for all active licenses, • RTO (Requested Time Off) must be listed at submissionSkills & Competencies:, • Strong clinical knowledge of stroke, sepsis, trauma, cardiac arrest, MI, and respiratory failure, • Comfort working with a full age range – including newborns and pediatrics, • Experience using specialty equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun, • Excellent critical thinking, de-escalation, and emergency response skills, • Ability to float between departments and take charge if neededFacility / Unit Details:, • Unit: Emergency Department, • Beds: Total 64 beds, • 40 acute, • 6 super track, • 2 trauma, • 2 triage, • 10 CDU (Clinical Decision Unit), • 6 psych, • Patient Demographics: Newborns, pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, • Common Diagnoses: Stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, • Equipment Used: Rapid Infusor, Arctic Sun, • Scrub Color: Navy Blue, • Floating: Required, • On-call: Not required Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
