Job Description Private practice in Chico and in Redding (Two locations) searching for a part-time Associate Marriage and Family Therapist or Associate Clinical Social Worker registered with BBS. The associate will be taking over an existing in-person caseload in Chico. Supervision is provided and paid on an hourly basis at $25 per hour for one hour of individual and two hours of group supervision. All new associates get one-on-one supervision for their first unit of supervision with triadic or group supervision for their second unit. This role requires the applicant to have finished their Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work and to have already received their associate registration number from the BBS. We also offer extra admin pay for doing marketing tasks such as contributing to the office blog, handing out your business cards to local businesses, etc. to help supplement our associates income if a client cancels or no-shows and you have downtime that you'd rather get paid for. In this job, the associate is responsible for providing high quality client care, conducting intake assessment, psychodiagnosis, treatment planning, therapy (individual and couples) and discharge planning. EMDR is the backbone of Inspired Life Counseling and it is a requirement for this position that a clinician is either already trained in an EMDRIA approved Basic Training - OR - that the clinician is willing to have finished training within the first 6 months of employment. Because we understand that when someone is looking for a job, adding in the cost and time to get the training to qualify for the job, we offer a 0% interest loan with repayment taken out of the clinician's paycheck over the course of ten paychecks. Supervision is with Jessica Wilkerson who has been providing EMDR to her own clients since 2014 and has been fully trained in EFT for couples since 2019 or with Deborah Duell-Stephens, LMFT who specializes in first responders, addiction, and Gottman couples therapy. Group supervision with Jessica consists of other associates who are also using EMDR with clients and can provide a supportive environment for learning the modality once your training is complete. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Completes biopsychosocial intake assessments, 2. Provide strength based family centered therapy, 3. Conduct treatment planning, 4. Creating and Maintaining schedule, 5. Collaborative note taking (training provided), 6. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Sessions are paid on a piece rate basis which means sessions are paid at $45-55 per session depending on experience and expertise, with admin time paid at $25 per hour. Supervision is paid at the admin rate. We have full time administrative staff who answer and make calls on your behalf, schedule and re-schedule clients, collect fees, upload intake forms, so you can spend your time seeing clients and earning a higher hourly rate. There is very little extra admin work that's not directly related to your session. A minimum of 10 sessions scheduled is required for this role. This allows the associate to have time in their schedule for their client sessions, supervision , and time for any admin tasks that arise. You may schedule more than ten sessions if you desire and if space is available. The clinician employees will only pay $895 directly to the EMDR Consulting company for this training. Attending the training is voluntary and it is NOT a criterion for employment. The owner and supervisor of ILC is fully trained in EFT for couples and provides free supervision and consultation groups in-house for all clinicians who work here. Compensation: · Associate Level Therapist with 22 clients a week can expect to earn apx $55,000 per year. · Licensed Clinicians with 22 clients a week can expect to earn apx $79,000 per year. This is calculated based upon averaging the varying amounts of insurance compensation between the various insurance companies while calculating over a 50 week period to account for vacations and it is not a guarantee of salary. Once a clinician has completed a Basic Training for EMDRIA approved EMDR their rate for services increases by $10, and therefore this has a positive impact on their compensation by increasing the gross pay calculated above. *As referenced above, the office has been able to coordinate a voluntary training to begin in June which offers a discount to the clinicians employed at ILC. The owner paid $2,500 for her training in 2014 and is dedicated to helping other therapists access this evidence-based modality which she has witnessed change so many lives. The EMDR training offered this summer is on a voluntary basis, and is not required for employment. Because of this, the increase in a clinician's rate was not calculated into the compensation estimate.
