Job Description Primary Job Title: Automotive Training and Development Consultant Alternate/Related Job Titles: Automotive Technical Trainer Automotive Manufacturing Training Specialist Vehicle Systems Training Consultant Automotive Launch Training Specialist Automotive Process Training Instructor Location: Dallas, TX, United States Onsite Flexibility: Travel (extensive travel required across OEM vehicle assembly plants in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico) Contract Details (Contract roles only): • Position Type: Contract, • Contract Duration: 6 months, • Provide on-site training and technical support at OEM vehicle assembly plants., • Instruct and consult plant process and repair personnel on vehicle systems and assembly processes., • Demonstrate diagnostic techniques to identify and correct vehicle assembly or electrical system deficiencies., • Conduct root cause analysis to determine causes of vehicle assembly issues., • Develop training materials related to vehicle assembly processes, electrical harness manufacturing, and system architectures., • Act as a training liaison between product engineering, manufacturing engineering, and plant operations., • Share lessons learned and training materials across multiple plant locations., • Identify future training needs and support ongoing workforce development initiatives., • Participate in plant launch meetings and provide training reports to management and OEM teams., • Collaborate with engineering teams and component suppliers to validate training materials prior to production launch., • Research and compile engineering schematics, manufacturing documentation, and technical information for training materials.Required Experience:, • Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive training, instructional design, or manufacturing training., • Experience delivering training related to vehicle systems, diagnostics, or manufacturing processes., • Experience working with OEM manufacturing tracking and reporting systems., • Experience delivering technical training to both small and large groups., • Experience supporting manufacturing launches or automotive production environments.Nice-to-Have Experience:, • Automotive technical assistance center experience., • Experience supporting OEM vehicle assembly plant launches., • Experience working with automotive electrical harness systems., • Experience supporting cross-functional manufacturing teams and engineering groups.Required Skills:, • Automotive diagnostics and vehicle systems knowledge, • Technical training delivery and instructional development, • Root cause analysis for manufacturing and assembly issuesPreferred Skills:, • Ability to interpret automotive electrical schematics, • Automotive diagnostic tools and testing equipment, • OEM manufacturing tracking and testing systems, • Training material development and technical documentation, • Microsoft Office SuiteAdditional Skills from Original Description:, • Digital multimeter and automotive diagnostic scan tool usage, • Automotive electrical harness print interpretation, • Vehicle electrical architecture knowledge, • Engineering schematic analysis, • Automotive manufacturing process training, • OEM vehicle dynamic testing systems, • Professional presentation and communication skills, • Independent project execution and training facilitationBenefits:, • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans About GTT: GTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
