To protect your workforce, we are at your fingertips: internationalsos.com Job Description This position is based in the Philippines and will support the stand-up and operation of a contracted Role 2 Medical Treatment Facility located in Lal-Lo. The assignment is scheduled from April 18 through June 19, 2026, and will provide expeditionary medical support to U.S. military personnel and other authorized beneficiaries operating in the region. Please note that this is a temporary contract position and is not based in the United States. Candidates must be willing and able to travel internationally and work in an overseas operational environment for the duration of the contract. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The role supports routine, acute, trauma, and emergency medical care in accordance with facility policies and all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and credentialing requirements. The RN collaborates with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Technicians, Laboratory Technicians, Radiology Technicians, and other healthcare personnel to deliver safe, accurate, timely, and documented patient care during 24-hour operations, including rotating shifts, emergency response, and patient hold operations. • Provide patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care in line with facility policies., • Deliver nursing services for routine, acute, trauma, and emergency medical care within the legal scope of practice and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards governing nursing practice., • Administer oral, topical, non-intravenous, and intravenous medications as ordered by the prescribing practitioner and in accordance with facility policies., • Collaborate with physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Technicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient patient flow., • Support patients hold capabilities for up to 72 hours to ensure proper monitoring and treatment when patients require continued observation., • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes., • Complete 100 percent of shift documentation before shift change and maintain patient documentation for turnover at contract completion in accordance with contract requirements., • Report to work as scheduled for 24-hour operations, including rotating shifts, 30-minute recall status when resting, emergencies, disasters, adverse weather, and periods of high patient volume., • Comply with all International SOS standards, rules, and procedures, including licensure, credentialing, quality assurance, safety, fire prevention, waste disposal, infection control, and patient safety requirements., • Protect patient privacy and confidentiality and comply with the Privacy Act of 1974, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, and all applicable government medical records requirements., • Complete required in-processing, orientation, computer training, Operational Security training, Anti-Terrorism training, and Combating Trafficking in Persons training as required for contract performance., • Maintain current licensure, certifications, clinical competence, and continuing education required for contract performance throughout the assignment., • Follow approved protocols and procedures and do not introduce new procedures or services without prior approval., • Comply with installation identification, access, conduct, appearance, health, immunization, and security requirements applicable to performance. Basic Requirements/Certifications: • Full unrestricted U.S. Licensure as a Registered Nurse., • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the nursing field., • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required., • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred., • Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred., • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate., • Education appropriate to obtain and maintain licensure and certification., • Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments., • Strong communication and teamwork skills., • Sufficient initiative, interpersonal relationship skills, and social sensitivity to relate constructively to patients from diverse backgrounds., • Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements, • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time., • Valid passport with at least 18 months before expiration date. Must maintain a current passport during your stay., • Successful completion of required background checks., • Must be able to relocate to Philippines for the duration of the project., • Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
