Job DescriptionSalary: $63,000 - 70,000/year REGIONALDIRECTOR OFPREVENTIONPROGRAMS Job Category:PreventionPrograms Job Status: Full-time Reports to:VP of PreventionPrograms Responsibilities: Administrative Leadership & Management • Supervise theFostering Preventionand Kinship Navigation programsin all assignedFACbranchofficesresulting in the implementation of quality service delivery, • Responsible for employee satisfaction within theprevention programs, • Strive to build a sense of team within each department, • Conduct individual supervisory meetings withProgram Managers and any direct reportSpecialists at least bi-monthly with the goal of providing continual support, guidance, and work product evaluation/feedback., • Completetimely probationary/annual employee evaluations, • Responsible foridentifying the training needs and professional development needs of staff supervised, • Ensure staff are trained/certified in Motivational Interviewing, • Ensure staff are trained/certified in Nurturing Parenting, • Travel (with or withoutaccommodations)within Kansas,Missouriand/or nationallyto attend and/or present in-service training, to conduct program training/presentations, • Attendtrainings,courtand meetings asrequired, andactivelyparticipate in all leadership meetings, • Responsible for making community connections to increase program referrals as assigned (i.e.,distribute program brochures, schedule informational meetings, contact media outlets, speak at community presentations, booth exhibits, etc.).Compose and email quarterly newsletters to community partners of program updates, • Contribute on an organizational level with a focus on agency culture, cultural competency, and performance improvement outcomes.Participate in staffmeetings, andassist other program staff as needed, • Analyze data toidentifytrends and directions for future systemic advocacy efforts;assistinidentifyingareas for program growth and expansion, • When possible,participatein task forces, in-services, trainings, and other community educational networking opportunities to educate others aboutFACs programs and to promote partnerships and sponsorships whenever possible, • Model ethical and professional behavior at all times, • Participate in ongoing meetings/professional memberships and trainings asrequired, • Participate as an active team member with all agencydepartmentsso the agencys efforts toassist families and maintain licensing/contract/COA standards are coordinated for maximum effectiveness Outcome Planning/Performance Quality & Improvement (PQI) • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of the program, both internal and external, • Implement and lead a continuous quality improvement process throughout the program and service areas in his/her purview, focusing on systems/process improvement and personnel growth, • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of service improvement asidentifiedbyFACsinternal PQI process, • Participate in quarterly client audit reviews; make updates/changes asidentifiedthrough the PQI process Financial Management • Oversee budget performance for program services toensurefiscally sound operations that meet budget expectations, • Manage effectively within approved budget, and report accurately on progress made & challengesencounteredtodirect supervisorand CFO, • Completemonth-endreports, asrequired, • Assistwith grant planning, tracking and execution, asrequired, • Participate inannualbudget planning process in conjunction with the CFO and COO, as needed Strategic Planning • Provide vital input in short- and long-term strategic and operational planning,evaluationand positioning withinFAC, • Assistwith the agenda and development of growth strategies forFAC, • Assistto implementgrowth strategies Qualifications& Preferred Skills • Bachelors Degree (Masters Degreepreferred) in social work, psychology, public administration, or a related human services field andfour(4+) years of experience working in non-profit social service agencies with management experience (3+ years preferred), • Previouschild welfare experiencerequired;three(3) years preferred, • Previousexperience working with at-risk populations, • Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and proposing new ways of creating efficiencies., • Outstanding organizational and planning skills, • Solid commitment to the principles of support and advocacy for relative and kinship families, and personal experience or connection is preferred, • Collaborate and advocate for positive outcomes, using excellent interpersonal skills in multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic professional teams, • Strong verbal communication skills anddemonstratedtalentto write clearly and persuasively, • Demonstrated leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.Quicklyestablishrapport and build trust, • Core understanding of program development, implementation, and evaluation, • Flexible anda self-starter;
