Salary: $161,034 - 257,650 per year Requirements: • Bachelors degree in computer science, Business Systems, Health Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent education/experience, • 10 years of management experience, with responsibility for strategic planning, operations, financial management, and staff development, • 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience, • Proven track record in managing software implementation projects, • Knowledge and experience in healthcare, • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and facilitate multidisciplinary teams, • Successful project management experience leading cross-functional teams, • Strong leadership skills, proactivity, and resourcefulness, • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills, • Ability to build and nurture effective teams, • Capacity to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical documents, or regulations, • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word, • (Desired) Master’s Degree (e.g., MBA, MHA), • (Desired) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Responsibilities:, • Oversee and manage the IT project management office (PMO), IT Procurement process, and HIM department along with associated staff, • Develop and implement the IT project management, procurement, and HIT strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory standards, • Establish and promote best practices, standards, and methodologies for project management, • Identify and introduce cost-effective procurement methods and sustainable vendor partnerships, • Lead a team, ensuring effective planning, monitoring, and execution of tasks, • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to cultivate a high-performing team, • Oversee a diverse portfolio of IT projects from start to finish, • Track project progress, resource use, and budgets to guarantee timely and budget-compliant delivery, • Address risks and issues and apply strategies to keep projects on course, • Collaborate closely with internal and external parties, including senior leadership and clients, to comprehend project needs and expectations, • Maintain open communication and build positive relationships with stakeholders to foster project success, • Administer budgets for IT projects, HIM operations, and IT activities ensuring resource optimization and accurate invoice processing, • Develop and oversee IT procurement budgets, focusing on cost estimates, forecasting, and control strategies, • Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, tools, and reporting, • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and service-level agreements securing favorable terms and liaising with the Legal department as required, • Ensure compliance with medical records regulations and oversee the management and maintenance of patient health information, • Liaise with Medical Staff leaders to confirm provider documentation requirements are satisfied in the EHR, • Oversee Release of Information and manage patient record merging, amendments, corrections, and deficiencies, • Monitor and ensure the accuracy and integrity of medical records while upholding security and privacy, • Maintain adherence to HIM and hospital policies regarding medical records, complying with applicable regulations such as CMS, Joint Commission, and HIPAA, • Advocate for interoperability among healthcare systems to facilitate seamless data exchange and integration of health information, • Perform additional duties as assigned Technologies:, • CMS, • Excel, • Security, • Support At EvergreenHealth, we are dedicated to enhancing the health of our community through high-quality, compassionate, and cost-effective healthcare.
