Job Description As a Security Guard - Office Park Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and access control needs as assigned, document observations, and provide professional customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff. You will support a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and guided by integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Why Join Us: • Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more., • Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities., • Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance., • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities., • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, loading and service areas, garages, exterior grounds, and perimeter., • Monitor building access points and help to control entry and exit in accordance with property rules, including verifying credentials, issuing visitor access as directed, and/or directing guests to proper check-in locations., • Observe and report suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, and/or property conditions that may require attention, and promptly notify property management and/or public responders when needed., • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, trespassing, lost property, and/or tenant and visitor concerns., • Perform access control and key control duties as assigned, including monitoring doors, gates, and/or elevators and reporting malfunctioning locks, doors, and/or access devices., • Complete routine patrol checks of doors, windows, and/or restricted areas and report unsecured openings and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts., • Operate CCTV and/or alarm monitoring systems when assigned and communicate observations to supervisors and/or designated contacts., • Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written reports, activity logs, and/or electronic systems according to Allied Universal and site requirements., • Coordinate with property staff, engineering, and/or maintenance by reporting hazards, damage, and/or equipment issues observed during patrols., • Assist with emergency and/or evacuation procedures as directed, including helping with route guidance, perimeter control, and/or accountability support., • Be at least 21 years of age., • Alarm panel experience is preferred., • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred., • Customer service experience is preferred., • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles., • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent., • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws., • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws., • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law., • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
