Job Description As a Security Officer, you help keep our resort safe, secure, and welcoming. This role blends security responsibilities with hospitality focused service, ensuring our guests, team members, and property are protected while creating a friendly and supportive environment. You maintain a visible presence, manage access points, respond to police, fire, or medical situations, and complete safety inspections and incident reports. By working closely with public safety partners and resort leadership, you help ensure everyone feels safe and cared for. What You’ll Do as a Security Officer: • Serve as the first responder to police, fire, and medical incidents within the scope of Security Officer duties, • Maintain a visible, uniformed security presence across assigned resort areas, • Control access at designated entry and exit points, • Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and fire alarm panels, in compliance with legal and company requirements, • Conduct routine safety and security inspections following established procedures, • Maintain accurate security records, logs, and checklists, • Prepare clear, timely, and detailed incident reports using computer systems and email, • Assist guests and team members with security related concerns and service requests, • Manage lost and found inventory, key control, and accountability To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
