Job Description Regional Manager – Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana Location: Cincinnati, Ohio (Regional Travel Required) Reports To: Director of Physical Security Position Overview The Regional Manager – Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana is responsible for overseeing security operations and supporting client accounts across multiple states within the region. This role provides leadership, operational oversight, and strategic support to account managers, site supervisors, and security personnel while ensuring contractual obligations, staffing requirements, and service delivery standards are consistently met. The Regional Manager will support current operations in Evansville, Indianapolis, Columbus, Cincinnati, Lexington, and Louisville, while also assisting with business growth and operational expansion as directed within the region. As the company continues to grow, this role is expected to support the expansion of services into additional cities and markets within the region, and the geographic territory may expand to include additional states as directed by leadership. This position requires a strong operational leader with experience in the contract security industry, including guarding services and executive protection operations. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple accounts, supporting account managers and supervisors, coordinating staffing and scheduling needs, understanding contract performance, and ensuring accounts operate efficiently and profitably. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership • Provide regional oversight and operational support to account managers, site supervisors, and security personnel across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, • Ensure security operations are conducted in accordance with company standards, client expectations, and contractual requirements, • Assist with operational planning and execution for both standing guard services and executive protection assignments, • Support the resolution of operational challenges, staffing shortages, and client concerns within the region, • Conduct site visits and operational assessments to ensure service quality and consistency Account Support and Client Relations • Serve as a regional resource to support account managers in maintaining strong client relationships, • Assist in ensuring contractual service levels and operational expectations are met or exceeded, • Support new client onboarding and operational start-ups within the region, • Participate in client meetings as needed to support operational performance and relationship management Staffing and Scheduling Support • Assist account managers and supervisors in maintaining adequate staffing levels across all posts, • Support scheduling strategies to ensure shifts are properly covered while maintaining operational efficiency, • Provide guidance on staffing models, scheduling challenges, and workforce management within the region Equipment and Uniform Management • Ensure all sites within the region are properly equipped with the necessary uniforms, equipment, and operational resources required to perform services effectively, • Conduct periodic checks to ensure uniforms, equipment, and site resources remain serviceable, professional, and consistent with company standards, • Coordinate with internal teams to procure and distribute uniforms, equipment, and operational materials when additional resources are required Financial and Contract Oversight • Understand and support account-level financial performance including labor costs, bill rates, and profit margins, • Assist leadership and account managers in monitoring operational costs and identifying efficiencies, • Support the review and interpretation of client contracts to ensure operational compliance and profitability Regional Growth Support • Assist senior leadership with regional expansion initiatives and new business opportunities, • Support operational planning for new accounts or service expansions within the region, • Provide operational insight to support proposals, client presentations, and service design Technology and Administrative Support • Utilize Microsoft Office tools to manage communication, reporting, and operational coordination across the region, • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel, • Utilize Excel for operational tracking, scheduling support, and data analysis including basic to intermediate formulas, • Demonstrate the ability to review, modify, and reverse engineer spreadsheets used for operational planning and reporting Operational Readiness and Field Support • Maintain the ability and willingness to work security posts as needed to support operations, staffing shortages, or emergency coverage, • Be available to perform both armed and unarmed security assignments when required to support regional operational needs, • Maintain all necessary licensing, certifications, and qualifications required to perform armed or unarmed security services within the region Travel Requirements • Travel regularly within Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana to support accounts and operational needs, • Conduct site visits in Evansville, Indianapolis, Columbus, Cincinnati, Lexington, Louisville, and additional locations as the region expands Qualifications Required Experience • 5–10 years of experience in the security industry or related operational leadership roles, • Experience managing contract security operations including guarding services and/or executive protection operations, • Experience supporting multiple client accounts or operational sites simultaneously, • Experience managing schedules, staffing levels, and operational performance Preferred Background • Prior military or law enforcement experience strongly preferred, • Experience supervising or supporting account managers, site supervisors, or security teams, • Experience supporting multi-state operations or regional security programs Technical Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel, • Strong working knowledge of Excel including basic to intermediate formulas and spreadsheet analysis, • Ability to interpret operational data and modify existing spreadsheets to support business needs Core with senior leadership Work Environment This role is based in Cincinnati, Ohio and requires regular travel throughout the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana region to support operational needs and client relationships. The Regional Manager must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility, responsiveness, and strong coordination across multiple accounts and teams. Monday - Friday 8am-5pm or as job and situations dictate
