Seattle Premier Health is a concierge medicine practice for people who want a personal relationship with their doctor and time to thoroughly attend to all of their primary care needs. Our Registered Nurse is a crucial part of the patient experience and supports physicians to ensure Seattle Premier Health runs smoothly. The RN also provides excellent direct patient care as needed. Seattle Premier Health seeks a self-starter with a passion for healthcare and a desire to build long-term relationships and provide high-quality care for all our patients. Responsibilities: Patient Care & Clinical Support · Greet and prepare patients for exams and procedures. · Conduct patient intake, including reviewing medical history and current symptoms. · Perform and document vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration). · Administer medications and injections as prescribed. · Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures. · Provide wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes. · Perform diagnostic tests such as ECGs, strep/flu/COVID swabs, and INR checks. · Draw blood and collect specimens for lab testing (e.g., urine, throat swabs). · Provide coverage as needed for other medical staff including reception, phones, rooming, and medical chaperone. Patient Education & Communication · Educate patients on medications, treatments, and lifestyle modifications. · Provide discharge instructions and follow-up care guidance. · Answer patient questions via phone or patient portal (e.g., MyChart). · Support chronic disease management through education and monitoring. Documentation & Recordkeeping · Accurately document all care provided in the electronic health record (e.g., Epic). · Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. · Complete insurance forms and respond to third-party inquiries as needed. · Coordination & Workflow Support · Prepare charts and review labs/imaging prior to patient visits. · Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations for imaging, specialists, and procedures. · Communicate with labs (e.g., LabCorp) regarding specimens and results. · Support Medical Assistants (MAs) when needed to ensure smooth clinic flow. Safety & Compliance · Monitor and record temperatures for medication storage (e.g., vaccine refrigerators). · Ensure infection control protocols are followed. · Maintain and troubleshoot medical equipment. · Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices. Education and Experience • Bachelor's Degree, college-level coursework, or equivalent combination of experience and education required., • Registered Nurses License required., • Experience using EPIC medical systems for storing, accessing, organizing, and sharing electronic medical records., • Three or more years of related RN experience and training. Skills and Abilities • A fundamental understanding and knowledge of the assigned subject area's principles, practices, procedures, and techniques., • Demonstrated experience with basic laboratory and medical equipment., • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products., • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense., • Ability to evaluate information to determine compliance with standards and protocols., • Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills Salary Range: 75,000.00-121,201.60
