Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the overall functionality and appearance of the senior living community. This role includes performing routine maintenance, completing repairs, painting, receiving deliveries, and maintaining the grounds, etc. The Maintenance Tech plays a key role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities • Perform general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout the facility, including resident rooms, common areas, and building systems., • Paint and make cosmetic improvements to maintain the building’s appearance., • Maintain the surrounding property, including landscaping, walkways, parking areas, and exterior upkeep., • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance checklists., • Receive deliveries in a timely and organized manner., • Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and requests from residents and staff., • Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment, furniture, and supplies for community events as needed., • Participate in a rotating weekly after-hours on-call schedule, responding to urgent maintenance needs., • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, emergency procedures, and regulatory guidelines., • Maintain proper documentation of completed tasks and maintenance records.Qualifications:, • High school diploma or equivalent required., • Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related field preferred., • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry is a plus., • Ability to operate maintenance tools, equipment, and vehicles safely., • Strong organizational and time management skills., • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently., • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and climbing ladders., • Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with residents, families, and staff.Schedule:, • Full-time position with daytime hours.
