Job Description A healthcare organization located west of Syracuse, New York is seeking a Dentist to join its team in a full-time, permanent position. This is a strong opportunity for a Dentist who enjoys providing comprehensive care in a community-focused setting and is comfortable serving an underserved patient population. The position offers a Monday through Thursday schedule, competitive compensation, full benefits, generous PTO, and potential loan repayment. New graduates may be considered, although at least one year of experience is preferred. Job Responsibilities In this role, you will: • Provide comprehensive dental care, including preventive, restorative, and urgent dental services., • Meet with patients to evaluate oral health concerns and develop individualized treatment plans., • Perform dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and other general dentistry services., • Diagnose and treat issues related to tooth decay, gum disease, bite concerns, and overcrowding., • Apply preventive treatments such as sealants and other appropriate dental agents., • Prescribe medications as needed for dental-related conditions, including pain management or infection., • Administer local anesthesia or appropriate sedation prior to treatment when clinically indicated., • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and long-term dental health. Schedule • Full-time, permanent position., • Monday through Thursday work week., • 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM schedule. Minimum Qualifications • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental program., • Active New York dental license or eligibility to obtain., • One year of Dentist experience preferred., • New graduates may be considered., • Comfortable working with underserved patient populations., • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care., • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative team members.
