Job DescriptionThe mission of Community Action Programs Cayuga/Seneca (CAP) is to respectfully assist people to achieve and sustain self-sufficiency through direct services, education, and community partnerships. CAP is seeking a Behavioral Support Teacher for their Early Childhood Program. The Behavioral Support Teacher assists teaching staff in improving classroom management and climate through the implementation and role modeling of Conscious Discipline strategies to support children who exhibit behavioral problems and disabilities. Must possess a Bachelor's degree in special education, Master's preferred, along with three years of experience teaching in a preschool setting. This is a full-time, 11-month position and is scheduled 35 hrs/wk, 43 wks/yr. The pay rate is $31.00/hr.
