Job Description GelatoLove is seeking a motivated, friendly, and customer-focused Server & Barista to join our artisan gelato and coffee shop team. If you have a background in food service, a love for Italian desserts and culture, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for customers, we’d love to meet you. This role is all about providing exceptional service, crafting gelato and coffee with care, and ensuring every guest leaves happier than when they arrived. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in presentation, enjoys engaging with people, and has a strong eye for sales and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience • Welcome and engage customers with warmth and professionalism., • Provide knowledgeable recommendations about flavors, desserts, and pairings., • Prepare and serve artisan gelato, espresso drinks, and light menu items., • Ensure a clean, inviting, and well-organized store environment following food safety and hygiene standards., • Promote flavors, seasonal specials, and add-ons to maximize sales., • Assist with daily opening and closing procedures., • Operate POS system, handle cash, and reconcile register accurately., • Collaborate with fellow team members to maintain smooth daily operations., • Help train new staff when needed and contribute to a positive work culture., • Communicate effectively with supervisors and provide feedback on customer preferences or store needs. Qualifications & Skills • Previous customer service experience in food service, café, or retail is required., • Passion for desserts, Italian cuisine, and creating memorable guest experiences., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to multitask and stay positive in a fast-paced environment., • Attention to detail in product presentation, cleanliness, and hospitality., • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
