Position Overview At Ggiata, our Front of House (FOH) Team Members do more than ring up orders. They are the heartbeat of the guest experience. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys staying active, engaging with guests, and supporting the team wherever needed to keep service running smoothly. As a FOH Team Member, you’ll greet guests, take and process orders, run food, and support the dining room, all while delivering warm, friendly hospitality. You are a key part of ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and excited to come back. Key Responsibilities • Greet guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude and create a positive first impression., • Take customer orders accurately and process cash and card transactions., • Answer questions about the menu, make recommendations, and assist guests with their orders., • Run food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met., • Support guest service throughout the shift by handing out take-out orders, checking in with guests, assisting with requests, and keeping the dining area clean and welcoming., • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked front of house, including registers, counters, and guest-facing areas., • Communicate clearly with kitchen and FOH teammates to ensure smooth service flow., • Jump in to support other front of house responsibilities as needed during busy periods., • Perform other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need to Succeed • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required. New to restaurants? No problem. We are excited to train motivated team members with energy, curiosity, and a strong work ethic., • Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and comfort interacting with guests and teammates. Conversational Spanish is a plus., • Guest-Focused Mindset: A friendly, positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service., • Reliability & Adaptability: Dependable, punctual, and committed to supporting the team. Ability to stay organized, calm, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment., • Attention to Detail: Accurate and thoughtful when handling orders, transactions, and guest requests., • Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb stairs for extended periods, often up to 10 hours per day. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and carry items at least 10 feet, along with performing other physical tasks required in a fast-paced restaurant environment., • Passion & Endurance: A commitment to hospitality and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
