Job Description Are you looking for a rewarding LIVE-IN caregiving role? We are seeking two highly skilled caregivers with vigorous professional dementia experience and training to provide continuous care and supervision for our client in their home as a live-in caregiver. This is a true live-in position, meaning the caregiver will reside in the client’s home during their scheduled workdays and will not leave the client unattended during those times. The 7 day schedule is split between two live-in caregivers to ensure coverage and rest time. Each of you will work independently during your assigned days. During your scheduled days, you are expected to remain in the home and be available to assist the client as needed. At the end of your scheduled days, the next scheduled caregiver will return to relieve you. At this point, you will be expected to leave the clients home until the start of your next shift. Responsibilities include personal care assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, help with daily activities, transportation and ensuring the client’s safety at all times. Private sleeping accommodations will be provided, and designated rest periods will be arranged while still maintaining on-site presence. Weekly Pay – We know you need Responsibilities: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with seniors Provide medication reminders and assistance with medication management Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences Assist with transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Requirements: 2 years minimum experience in caring for someone with Advanced Dementia. Ability to complete a provided Advanced Dementia Training. Attend on boarding, orientation & initial training. Compassionate and patient demeanor. Reliable transportation & valid driver's license. Proof of auto insurance with your name listed as a driver and a clean driving record.
