Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Phlebotomist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 04/13/2026, • Duration: Ongoing, • 24 hours per week, • Shift: 4 hours, days, • Employment Type: Staff Position: Mobile Phlebotomist Location: White Plains, NY Schedule: Part-Time, Day Shift – Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM (includes holidays) Additional Openings: Per Diem available Salary Range: $40,836.90 – $61,255.16 ($19.64/hr – $29.45/hr) Position Summary The Mobile Phlebotomist works independently, traveling to various client locations to collect blood specimens for laboratory analysis. This role is responsible for ensuring proper specimen collection, handling, documentation, and transport in accordance with established laboratory protocols. The position also supports in-house phlebotomy operations and assists with customer service-related duties as needed. Essential Functions & Responsibilities • Perform blood draws on patients of all age groups using proper techniques, • Travel to assigned locations and ensure timely transport of specimens to the hospital, • Verify specimen labeling, documentation, and resolve any discrepancies, • Enter lab orders into the system (HIS/EPIC Beaker) and ensure accurate processing, • Prepare, label, and distribute specimens to appropriate laboratory departments, • Manage STAT and scheduled specimen pickups and coordinate courier services, • Answer outreach calls and provide timely, accurate customer support, • Maintain documentation for shift communication and follow-up items, • Prepare and deliver supplies to client locations and track inventory, • Submit daily mileage reports, • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety protocolsEducation & Experience Requirements, • High School Diploma or GED required, • Phlebotomy Certification preferred, • 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred, • Valid NYS driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required, • Previous healthcare experience preferred, • Basic computer skills required (EPIC Beaker a plus), • Ability to type 35 WPM preferred, • Medical terminology knowledge preferredCore Competencies, • Ability to work independently, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Effective communication with internal and external customers, • Adaptability and teamwork, • High level of integrity and confidentiality, • Ability to remain composed under stressPhysical / Work Environment Requirements, • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for safe blood draws, • Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods, • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain focus, • Exposure to chemicals and adherence to safety protocols, • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environmentBenefits, • Health, Dental, Vision, • PTO, • 401k
