Job Description Job Summary:The candidate will work in a fast-paced hospital shipping and receiving department, primarily on a loading dock. This role is responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, delivering packages to end-users within the hospital, and managing shipment documentation through an electronic receiving system. The position requires extensive walking, standing, and strong customer service skills in a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities: • Process incoming and outgoing shipments for the hospital, • Deliver packages and materials to end-users throughout the hospital, • Process shipment paperwork using an electronic receiving system, • Perform duties related to shipping and receiving of materials, • Sort, distribute, and handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages, • Operate high-volume copy, imaging, and mail management equipment, • Run high-volume copy machines and perform binding and finishing work, • Operate document imaging systems and document handling software, • Use MS Office and email systems to open, send, retrieve, and transfer files, • Maintain daily meter readings, service logs, and management reports, • Maintain inventory of supplies and distribute office supplies as needed, • Respond to customer service requests and coordinate service calls, • Deliver completed jobs to designated customer locations inside and outside the site, • Maintain convenience copiers, clear paper jams, and report issues to technicians, • Calculate job charges and maintain billing logs, • Perform filing, archiving, and document purging as requested, • Assist with meeting room and conference room setups, • Perform light maintenance, building occupant moves, and housekeeping tasks as assigned, • May travel between buildings on-site, • Excellent customer service skills, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, • Average computer skills with ability to use MS Office and email, • Mathematical and filing skills, • Ability to operate office machines and technical equipment, • Moderate manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50–55 lbs, • Ability to push or pull wheeled equipment weighing up to 700 lbs, • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stretch, and climb for extended periods, • Prior copy or onsite services experience Education: High School Company DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
