Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining reliable quality by managing and coordinating language projects as a Project Manager providing a single, dedicated point of contact for clients, translators, proofreaders, and other language and document professionals. Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinate, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of various translation projects, • Work closely with clients and vendors to make sure the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, • Work independently and as a part of a team, • Execute monthly goals, • Negotiate with our linguists, • Communicate with linguists via telephone and email, • Timely follow-up on all pending issues, • Manage very fast-paced requests, • Execute the best approach for complex requests, • Troubleshoot any issues related to the project process, • Prior translation project management experience is preferred, • Working as a translator experience is a plus, • Prior experience using software applications such as, but not limited to, XTRF, memoQ, Trello is preferred, • Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and/or Adobe InDesign is preferred, • Prior experience creating/manipulating PDF files, including the creation of bookmarks and thumbnails is a plus, • Excellent computer skills are required, • Excellent communication skills are required, • If bilingual, please include languages spoken Work Environment This job operates in a professional office (hybrid) environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, printing, mailing, and supporting.
