Job Description EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY WAGE & HOUR CLASS ACTION FOCUS Locations: San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Palo Alto, CA HYBRID A top-10 AmLaw firm is seeking a non-partnership track Associate Attorney with experience in wage and hour class, collective, and representative actions to join its Employment Litigation team in one of their California offices. This is a high-impact opportunity for a motivated litigator to manage sophisticated matters and provide strategic counsel in a dynamic, fast-paced practice. Candidate Profile • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record, • Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing, • 3+ years of substantive labor & employment law experience, • Strong litigation background with demonstrated experience handling class, collective, and representative actions, • Experience providing California employment advice and counseling, including drafting employment and severance agreements, policies, and handbooks, • Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 firm strongly preferred, • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, • Effective communication and client management skills Key Responsibilities • Manage wage and hour class, collective, and representative action matters in California, • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses, • Handle litigation management tasks, including case strategy and coordination with clients and team members, • Provide advice and counseling on California employment law issues, • Draft employment agreements, severance agreements, and employee policies and handbooks, • Support clients with proactive risk management strategies Why Join Us?
