Job Description Rome Health is rapidly expanding and we have a need to fill a Per Diem Speech Language Pathologist for our inpatient acute care, sub-acute rehab/long term care and outpatient therapy....optional weekend on call coverage for per diem. Key Responsibilities: • Assess patients' levels of speech or language difficulty through communication and standardized tests., • Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team., • Assist patients in articulating sounds and improving voice quality., • Work with patients to improve reading and writing skills., • Develop and implement exercises to strengthen the muscles used in swallowing., • Counsel patients and families on coping mechanisms for communication disorders., • Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, diagnoses, treatment progress, and changes in treatment plans., • Complete final evaluations when patients finish therapy., • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals., • Perform other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. (Required) Experience: Completion of a degree program associated with Speech-Language Pathology. Duties & Responsibilities: • Effectively manages the day to day operational activities related to supporting the Oneida Indian Nation workplace computing environment.
