Grupo de restauración de Barcelona con presencia internacional se encuentra en búsqueda de restaurant manager operativo para incorporarse a uno de sus restaurantes. Tus FUNCIONES serán: - Coordinar todos los aspectos de gestión del establecimiento. - Dirigir, supervisar y evaluar el buen funcionamiento del restaurante y el personal a cargo. - Controlar el rendimiento económico, velando por el cumplimiento de objetivos y la identificación de posibles mejoras. - Mantener o superar los niveles de servicio y filosofía establecidos por los estándares del grupo. - Trabajar con el equipo de cocina para supervisar la oferta gastronómica y la calidad del servicio. - Gestionar la imagen corporativa del establecimiento. - Coordinar, supervisar y liderar al equipo de sala y cocina. - Establecer estrategias de ventas, marketing, fidelización y dinamización del negocio. - Responsabilizarse de las cajas y las operaciones bancarias. - Encargarse de la gestión de incidencias - Garantizar el cumplimiento de la legislación laboral y seguridad e higiene. - Junto con el jefe de sala, asegurarse de que todo el equipo esté bien formado y tiene la capacidad de up-selling de productos. - Seguir creando una relación sólida con los proveedores actuales y comparar precios con otros competidores para aumentar la competitividad. - Respetar y asegurar el cumplimiento de la política de recursos humanos de la empresa de acuerdo con las leyes locales. - Trabajar en coordinación con los departamentos de compras, finanzas, marketing, RRHH, eventos. - Preparar informes y análisis operativos y realizar las recomendaciones pertinentes. - Reportar a operations área manager. Las CONDICIONES de la posición son: - Incorporación inmediata. - Horario con turno seguido rotativo (10-20h o 13 a 23h – 50h semanales aprox). - 2 días libres seguidos semanales. - Salario base de 77.000$ brutos/año + 8.000$ objetivos anuales (74.000-76.000€). - 15 días de vacaciones pagadas al año (a partir del segundo año se puede optar a 10 días más no remunerados). - Seguro médico a cargo de la empresa. - Comidas y o cenas en el restaurante. A tener en cuenta: - IMPRESCINDIBLE tener disponibilidad dos semanas para desplazarse a realizar el training (con todos los gastos pagados) e incorporarse posteriormente. - La empresa paga el visado de trabajo, el vuelo de avión y los primeros 10 días de alojamiento (y ofrecen guía y apoyo para encontrar vivienda). REQUISITOS: - IMPRESCINDIBLE tener nacionalidad española, por temas de visado. - Y nivel de inglés muy alto, para poder comunicarse sin problema. - Experiencia mínima de 3 años como restaurant manager. - Conocimientos en vinos, gastronomía española y servicio de bar-restaurante. - Valorable formación en restauración y hostelería. - Muy valorable haber trabajado anteriormente fuera de España.
About the job POSITION SUMMARY Assist staff with expediting problem payments (e.g., problems processing credit card). Follow up with guest regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues. Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in (i.e., sharewiths, separate room/tax/incidentals, comp). Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations when the property cannot accommodate guests with reservations. Block rooms in the computer and identify designated requirements and requests. Contact appropriate individual or department (e.g., Bellperson, Housekeeping) as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested. About the job Overview The Director of Groups Sales together with the Director of Sales is responsible for the development of successful solicitation strategies to all groups segments in terms of rooms, beverage and food and meeting space, in order to meet and exceed revenue goals. This position oversees and monitors the demand for groups business. He/she is responsible for the process from enquiry to conversion. The Director of Groups coaches and manages a team of Groups Sales managers, executives, coordinators, a Sales Analyst and Trainees.
