The IT Business Partner acts as a strategic and operational liaison between business units and IT. This role ensures operational excellence by overseeing applications, managing vendor relationships, conducting strategic analysis, and aligning IT solutions with organizational goals. The selected candidate may be based in any of our offices located in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, or Norway . Key responsabilities 1. Business & IT Alignment Serve as the primary bridge between business functions and IT. Maintain a deep functional understanding of business processes and applications. Act as the subject matter expert for the assigned business area. 2. Applications & Vendor Management Oversee application performance, upgrades, and support. Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with vendors. Monitor SLAs, escalating only when resolution fails. Track incidents and enhancements using tools like Freshservice and Azure DevOps. 3. Business Analysis & Documentation Utilize APIs and SQL for data extraction and analysis. Document business needs clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences. Prepare detailed specifications for development teams. Create and maintain a knowledge base for common issues and configuration tips. 4. Business Needs & Governance Validate business needs against existing tools, recommending M365 solutions only when justified. Lead gap analysis processes. Drive continuous improvement through stakeholder collaboration. 5. Project Management Manage small-scale projects and support coordinators on larger initiatives. Define project milestones, deliverables, tasks, and risks. Register and manage all project items in Azure DevOps. 6. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with the Service Desk to ensure quality escalations. Engage with other business partners (XXPs) on cross-functional projects. Work with Development teams to create EPICs and support rollout plans. Coordinate with the Digital Workplace team to ensure M365 guidance and avoid redundant solutions. Core capabilities: Technical Skills: Knowledge in SQL and working with APIs. Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Freshservice) and project tracking platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps). Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and digital workplace tools. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and documentation capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Ability to manage vendors and lead cross-functional initiatives. Ability to collaborate and work in a team. Ethical commitment and transparency in actions. Accountability: Ability to take responsibility and meet commitments. Building trust and strong relationships. Respect for diversity and others' contributions. Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Required experience 2-3 years of experience in in IT roles such as Business Analyst, Digital Workplace Engineer, or IT Project Manager. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and translate business needs into IT solutions.
