Job Description As the Service Delivery Director for the EU/APAC, you will oversee and manage IS services provided in the European (Central, Northern, Western, Southern) and APAC Sibelco countries in an efficient and effective way. This includes managing local business and ICT needs, representing end user support, and maintaining critical applications and infrastructure solutions, including Industrial IT/OT support. You will manage the IS Service Catalogue within the regional scope, ensure service delivery according to quality expectations, and monitor achievement of agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). As a member of the IS Leadership team, you will lead ICT service and solution management and ensure successful deployment of services and projects related to Applications, Infrastructure Solutions, and Business Processes in the local entities within the European and APAC regions. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership : Define and execute the regional (Europe & APAC) service delivery strategy aligned with global IS standards, focusing on user experience, operational stability, and measurable business outcomes. Build a 3–5-year vision for Service Delivery in alignment with the IS Digital Roadmap. Technology & Portfolio Management : Own regional service delivery governance (operational reviews, service improvement plans, risk & compliance follow-up) and ensure alignment with global service management processes and tooling. Manage regional demand for service enhancements and lifecycle activities, prioritising improvements based on business impact, user experience, and operational stability. Business Stakeholder Alignment : Act as the primary regional point of contact for Europe & APAC service delivery with business leadership, ensuring transparent communication, expectation management, and alignment on priorities. Partner with global tower owners (infrastructure, workplace, security, applications) to ensure effective handovers, support models, and that regional needs are represented in global roadmap decisions. Financial Management & Value Optimization : Manage the Europe & APAC service delivery budget (people and suppliers as applicable), drive cost transparency, and identify optimization opportunities without compromising service quality or security. Vendor Management : Manage regional service providers and local IT suppliers, ensuring clear SLAs, performance governance, escalations, and continuous improvement aligned with global vendor and sourcing strategy. Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of IT service management principles, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ITIL/Cobit). Expert level preferred. Also strong understanding of Cyber Security within the IT/OT space. Education, Experience & Requirements Experience : Extensive experience leading global technology services and digital foundations in a complex international environment. Proven track record managing large-scale service delivery through internal teams and strategic outsourcing partners, including governance of major vendors and service contracts. Experience driving technology transformation and major initiatives that improve operational stability while enabling digital capabilities for the business. Comfortable working with senior leadership and business stakeholders, with experience building strong teams and holding them accountable for service quality, delivery and budget performance. Educational Background : Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent by experience. Requirements : 15+ years of experience in Service Delivery and/or Digital Foundations, with a focus on developing and maintaining several product groups that bring value to the business. Relevant certifications, such as ITIL, CRISC or ISO 27001 are a plus. Strong technical skills in the above-mentioned areas. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization up to Exco. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex business and IT challenges. Experience managing and mentoring a team. English – proficient verbal & writing; Spanish, Italian, German, Flemish, French, and other languages are an asset.
