Marosa is a leading FinTech company based in Vigo, specialising in tax technology. We’re hiring a focused Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate and qualify opportunities that feed our Sales Account Executives. This role will be the front line of our sales motion in Spain, owning outbound prospecting and rapid qualification of inbound leads so AEs can focus on closing. You’ll build pipeline, nurture prospects, and ensure smooth handoffs to the Sales Account Executive. Key Responsibilities • Prospect proactively across target accounts via outbound email, phone, social selling (LinkedIn) and other channels to create qualified meetings., • Qualify inbound leads quickly and thoroughly, converting MQLs into SQLs and booking discovery meetings / demos for AEs., • Research target accounts and stakeholders to tailor outreach and messaging; build account lists and sequences., • Maintain accurate activity and lead data in the CRM and update opportunity records to support reliable forecasting., • Run and optimize outreach cadences using sales engagement., • Collaborate closely with AEs, Marketing and Partner teams to align on target segments, campaigns, and messaging., • Participate in regular pipeline reviews and refine qualification criteria based on AE feedback., • Attend industry events and webinars as needed to support lead generation and brand presence. Required Qualifications • 1–3 years of B2B sales development, inside sales, or lead generation experience in FinTech, ERP, or finance/compliance technology., • Familiarity with indirect tax / VAT landscape and compliance requirements preferred., • Proven success in outbound prospecting and achieving activity/meeting booking targets., • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; confident on the phone and in virtual meetings., • Experience using CRM systems, sales engagement and data research tools., • Highly organized with strong research skills and attention to data hygiene.

A TYPICAL DAY: We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work collaboratively to: • Identify and quantify the impact of opportunities to incorporate data and AI features into the product, • Contribute to the product vision and roadmaps for enhancing the customer and agent-focused acquisition experiences with data and AI., • Develop high-level experience and process diagrams and wireframes to set requirements, guide stakeholder discussions, and brief UI design., • Draft stories and business cases using qualitative and quantitative data, • Recommend and remotely lead research and discovery activities inclusive of user research, data analysis and competitive reviews., • Communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders and set appropriate expectations., • Work closely with data scientists, designers, engineers, finance, accounting, operations, sales, marketing, and business teams. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study such as Product Management, Engineering, or Business (with a relevant concentration), • 3-5 years of experience in digital product management, with a focus on data and AI products., • Familiarity with experience analytics tools, frameworks, and building business cases., • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decisions., • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done., • Strong consensus and relationship-building skills., • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment., • Outstanding communication skills across all mediums (presentations, stories, verbal)., • Super curious and proactive about investigating root causes and understanding business processes. PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED: • Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience., • Experience working within a matrixed organizational structure.
