About the Role Collaborate with business units to develop financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans. Provide information and analysis on financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Support decision-making processes by providing accurate and timely financial information. Responsibilities • Business performance monitoring:, • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance., • Perform variance analysis to explain deviations from budget and forecasts., • Provide recommendations for improvement based on analysis of financial and operational data., • Strategic financial advice:, • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., product development, sales, marketing) to understand business strategies and objectives., • Provide financial expertise and insight to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions., • Assess the financial impact of proposed projects and initiatives., • Work with the commercial team to develop business cases for the approval of new operations., • Financial reporting and compliance:, • Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards., • Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with financial regulations., • Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial data and analysis., • Cost management and optimization:, • Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements., • Work with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining operational effectiveness., • Monitor and control expenses to ensure alignment with budget constraints., • Business relationship and partnership management:, • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing financial insights and guidance., • Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to align financial objectives with overall business goals., • Act as a liaison between the finance department and other departments, facilitating cross-functional communication and cooperation., • Forecasting and decision support:, • Develop financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision making., • Provide financial information for strategic decisions such as pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and resource allocation., • Assess the financial implications of business decisions and recommend courses of action., • Continuous improvement and innovation:, • Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities., • Drive initiatives to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance overall financial performance., • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in finance and incorporate them into business operations. Qualifications • Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Management, or similar, and 4-6 years of professional experience in a similar position., • Experience in mergers and acquisitions., • Experience in companies in the technology sector. Required Skills • Ability to analyze data, set goals, define strategies, solve problems, plan, and monitor. Preferred Skills • Knowledge of financial regulation., • Specialized knowledge and experience in key areas (tax, treasury, auditing, etc.) is essential.
