Job Description As part of strengthening its Supply Chain organization and its data transformation, Vallourec is recruiting a: Group Supply Chain Data Analyst (M/F) Based at the headquarters in Meudon, this position sits at the heart of the Group Supply Chain (GSC), a global organization responsible for driving logistics and planning performance across the Group. The GSC organization is structured around three Control Towers (Logistics, Tactical Planning, Operational Planning), each accountable for performance and continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes. In a context where data maturity is still developing, with multiple data sources (ERP systems, local files, specific tools) and heterogeneous data structures, this role plays a key part in: • structuring, improving reliability, and leveraging Supply Chain data to support operational performance and decision-making This role is highly transversal, at the intersection of business teams, control towers, and the Data/IT function (VDIS). It involves daily interaction with operational teams and strong on-the-ground collaboration. Missions and Responsibilities Data Structuring & Governance • Structure and harmonize Supply Chain data (models, definitions, standards), • Implement data governance practices (quality, ownership, traceability), • Actively contribute to the Group’s Data Foundation program, • Reduce manual data consolidation by developing standardized and automated datasets, • Map data flows across key processes (S&OP, OTIF, lead time, logistics, etc.) Data Analysis & Decision Support • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs (OTIF, inventory, lead times, etc.), • Perform in-depth analyses (root cause, trends, performance), • Deliver actionable recommendations to improve operational performance, • Automate and enhance the reliability of reporting processes, • Support performance reviews and scenario/predictive analyses This role goes beyond reporting and requires strong analytical thinking and the ability to generate insights and recommendations. Data Project Management • Lead cross-functional data projects with Business Process Owners, • Structure data in ongoing transformation initiatives (e.g., order journey, end-to-end planning), • Prioritize and scope analytical needs, • Collaborate closely with VDIS teams Business Interface & Transversality • Act as the main data point of contact for Supply Chain teams, • Translate business needs into analytical use cases, • Interact with the three Control Towers and regional teams, • Co-develop solutions with process engineers and operational teams, • Challenge requests and propose data-driven improvements The role requires a proactive approach: engaging with teams, identifying needs, and supporting data maturity growth. Methods & Data Maturity Development • Promote data best practices (visualization, structuring, documentation), • Contribute to improving teams’ analytical capabilities, • Support the progressive development of a data-driven culture within Supply Chain Role Positioning This position combines: • A strong operational (hands-on) dimension (Excel, dashboards, tools), • A structuring dimension (governance, data models, standards), • An influence dimension (supporting teams, driving transformation) The candidate must be able to operate both at execution level and with a broader strategic vision. First Priorities (First Months) • Take ownership and secure critical planning tools (handover phase), • Contribute to ongoing data-intensive projects, • Structure initial data models on key processes, • Build strong relationships with Control Towers and VDIS teams Profile Technical Skills • Experience in data analysis and structuring (ideally 3–8 years), • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, Power Query, VBA, etc.), • Knowledge of data environments (data models, flows, quality), • Understanding of data governance principles, • Experience in project management Business & Analytical Skills • Strong interest in industrial and Supply Chain environments, • Ability to understand end-to-end processes (planning, logistics, etc.), • Strong analytical, structuring, and problem-solving capabilities Key Soft Skills • Proactive mindset and curiosity, • Ability to work transversally in a matrix organization, • Service-oriented mindset with strong internal customer focus, • Ability to influence without hierarchical authority, • Critical thinking and ability to make proposals, • Attention to detail and rigor Languages • English: required, • French: required (operational level), • Portuguese: a plus #LI-DT1 Why Join Us?
