Notre client recherche un(e) Ingénieur(e) Électronique & Électrique GNC pour contribuer au développement de systèmes de nouvelle génération de détermination et contrôle d’attitude (ADCS) pour des plateformes satellitaires avancées. Role Overview In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of electronic and electrical subsystems supporting GNC hardware, with a particular focus on reaction wheels (momentum wheels) and associated control electronics. These systems are critical components of the Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS), enabling precise satellite orientation control without propellant and ensuring mission performance and stability. You will work at the intersection of electronics, control systems, and spacecraft GNC, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, systems, and software engineering. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop electronics for ADCS actuators, including reaction wheels and associated drive/control units, • Develop power electronics and motor control systems for high-speed rotating machinery, • Define and implement control electronics architectures for GNC subsystems, • Perform circuit design, PCB development, and component selection for space applications, • Support GNC integration, ensuring electrical performance meets pointing and stability requirements, • Conduct signal integrity, EMC/EMI, and power analysis, • Define and execute verification and validation plans, including functional and environmental testing, • Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and system-level validation, • Work with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure high-reliability electronics production Required Qualifications & Experience • Degree (MSc/PhD preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field, • Proven experience in satellite GNC / ADCS systems or space electronics, • Strong experience with motor control electronics, ideally for reaction wheels or similar actuators, • Solid understanding of:, • Power electronics and control systems, • Analogue and digital circuit design, • Embedded systems and interfacing, • EMC/EMI considerations in space systems, • Experience with space standards (ECSS or equivalent), • Familiarity with spacecraft GNC principles and system-level requirements Desirable Skills • Experience with FPGA or microcontroller-based control systems, • Knowledge of brushless DC (BLDC) motor control, • Experience with radiation-tolerant or radiation-hardened electronics design, • Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink), • Experience in environmental qualification (thermal vacuum, vibration), • Understanding of redundancy architectures and fault-tolerant design Why Join? • Work on cutting-edge satellite and space technologies, • Be part of a leading space hub in Toulouse, • Competitive salary and strong career progression opportunities, • Collaborative, international engineering environment Apply Now for the Electronics & Electrical GNC Engineer in Toulouse, France If you are passionate about space electronics and want to contribute to the development of advanced satellite control systems, we would love to hear from you.
