To support our continued international growth and strengthen the clinical evidence underpinning our technologies, we are seeking an experienced Global Clinical Operations Manager (M/W) to lead our international clinical operations team and drive the successful execution of our global clinical development program. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality international clinical studies, generating robust scientific evidence, and collaborating with world-leading investigators to support innovation across hepatology, metabolic health, and cardiometabolic diseases. Global Clinical Operations Manager (M/W) Paris - France The Global Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for leading Echosens-sponsored clinical programs from concept through completion, ensuring scientific excellence, operational execution, regulatory compliance, quality, and timely delivery. Beyond overseeing an international Clinical Operations team, the role contributes to the development of Echosens' clinical evidence strategy by collaborating closely with Medical Affairs, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and leading international investigators. This position offers the opportunity to progressively expand its scope toward broader Medical Affairs responsibilities. Main activities: 1/ Lead Global Clinical Operations • Define and execute the operational strategy for Echosens-sponsored clinical studies worldwide., • Lead the full study lifecycle, from feasibility and protocol development through Clinical Study Reports., • Ensure studies are delivered on time, within budget and in compliance with ICH-GCP, ISO 14155, MDR and applicable FDA requirements. 2/Lead an International Team • Manage, coach and develop an international Clinical Operations team., • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and operational excellence., • Drive continuous improvement of clinical processes and operational performance. 3/Build Scientific Partnerships • Lead the Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) program., • Develop long-term collaborations with investigators, academic institutions and Key Opinion Leaders., • Support the generation of high-quality clinical evidence aligned with Echosens' strategic priorities. 4/Contribute to Clinical Strategy • Partner with the Chief Medical Officer to shape clinical development and Medical Affairs initiatives., • Contribute to protocol design, scientific strategy and the identification of new clinical research opportunities., • Support scientific communications and evidence-generation activities. 5/Collaborate Across the Organization • Partner with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, Biostatistics and Data Management., • Represent Echosens with external investigators, scientific societies and at major international congresses Experience / Education / Special Requirements You hold an MD, PharmD, PhD, or MSc in Life Sciences (or a related discipline), together with extensive experience in international clinical research and evidence generation. You bring around 10 years of experience in Clinical Operations, including at least 3 years in people management. You have successfully led international multicenter clinical studies from design to completion, including both sponsor-driven and Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS). Experience in medical devices is strongly preferred, along with a strong understanding of international clinical research regulations. You are scientifically curious and able to understand complex medical concepts, critically appraise scientific literature, contribute to protocol development, and engage confidently with leading international investigators and Key Opinion Leaders. You demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams, build collaborative relationships, manage multiple international projects simultaneously, and thrive in a matrix organization. You combine operational excellence with strategic thinking and a continuous improvement mindset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present scientific information to diverse internal and external audiences. Fluent English is essential.
