Bakery Operations Assistant Manager
Location: London - NW10 7NZ
Working hours: 45 hours a week, Weekdays (including some weekends).
The role covers the bakery in JCG’s Unit B warehouse and will at times require visits and monitoring of all other competitive Japanese bakery offerings within the Central London catchment. You will be assisting the General Manager in leading the Bakery team.
Role and Responsibilities:
The role will require you to plan, coordinate and control manufacturing processes and manage production lines
Create an effective team of staff at the bakery.
HANDS-ON Baking experience is REQUIRED.
Ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that supply quantities are to specification and meeting all cost KPI’s.
Managing the day to day bakery operations
Training and development of the baking team
You will be subjected to the heat of ovens and grills during a major part of your day
You will have to work while standing on your feet
Full training will be given on duty
What we are looking for:
-HANDS-ON Baking experience is REQUIRED (i.e. breads, pastries)
-Passionate about bakery
-Experience in managing a team
A 2.5 hour trial is required before employment is considered.
