What you will be doing You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with a range of Mental Health conditions, using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recover pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life. Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene. It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better. Ideal candidates will be drivers who enjoy high‑energy, active days and can confidently take part in regular activities such as football and other sports several times a week. This is a permanent, full‑time role (37.5 hours per week), working day shifts between the hours of 7 am and 10pm, including weekends, on a rota basis. This role is open to male applicants only, as the post involves providing personal care and support to male residents. This requirement is an Occupational Requirement permitted under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010. A valid UK driving licence is preferred to support community activities.
