Thera Trust has an exciting opportunity available for a Development Officer to join our team. This is a Home-based position with Group-wide travel.You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £31,521.10 per annum. About the Development Officer role: Thera Trust is looking for a motivated and proactive Development Officer to support the delivery of our Development Strategy and play a key role in helping us achieve our vision of an inclusive society where people with learning disabilities are empowered to lead and live great lives. As part of the Development Team, you will work collaboratively across Thera Group to identify opportunities, deliver key developmental functions, and support strategic decision making through high quality research, analysis, and relationship building. As a Development Officer, you will: • Lead research and strategic intelligence gathering to spot development opportunities, track market activity, and provide insight to senior stakeholders., • Manage and analyse data, maintain dashboards and KPIs, and produce clear reports to inform business planning and strategic direction., • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues and external partners, including people with lived experience, families, local authorities, and donors., • Support the delivery of developmental activities which could include; tender submissions, mobilisation projects, fundraising applications, communication and impact., • Work independently to plan, prioritise and deliver high quality outputs within deadlines working in line with compliance requirements, including GDPR and other relevant legislation. Essential: • Strong research and analytical skills., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and web based platforms., • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with a variety of people., • Ability to process, interpret and present information clearly., • Experience contributing to the delivery of projects and meeting deadlines., • Ability to travel across England and Scotland, including occasional overnight stays., • A passion for making the world a better place., • Knowledge of the adult social care, disability, charity, or business development sectors., • Experience working with or alongside people with a learning disability., • Relevant educational qualification (e.g., social care or business development).
