Working in a hybrid style, based at home and 5 City Square, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a temporary basis until September 2027. If you have any queries regarding this vacancy, please contact Melanie Hyatt on 07810 507316 or email will have a Professional Qualification/Relevant Degree or equivalent.You will support the development of partnership working between all agencies involved in the care and protection of vulnerable groups in Dundee, including supporting the development of strategic plans and improvement projects. To support continuous improvement across the Protecting People Committees/Partnerships (child protection, adult protection, violence against women, management of offenders, suicide prevention and substance misuse) and member agencies and ensure local implementation of best practice approaches at a strategic and operational level.You will have an understanding of outcomes reporting processes and performance management. You will also have experience in service development and / or planning, multi-disciplinary working and developing positive partnerships, and in managing projects or services. As an effective communicator you will have report writing skills. You will also have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, and an ability to lead, advise, assess and respond to critical situations and to prioritise your workload. You will occasionally be required to work outwith normal working hours. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
