We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Volunteers / learners to join our fully funded overseas volunteer programme, Reach, at LionHeart In The Community. We are a non-profit based in Brixton, London promoting learning and opportunities for young people and adults. The LITC Reach Programme offers fully-funded, 2 weeks internships for young people aged between 19 - 28 years old in countries including Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Japan and more, you must be a UK citizen. Covering travel, accommodation, and meals, it allows participants to gain hands-on experience in community development, education, and ecological conservation. Learners will apply their sustainability skills, build professional networks, and make a lasting impact, all while growing personally and professionally through this transformative opportunity. No specific previous experience is required just a keen interest to learn and participate. We have overseas placements starting in end of April 2025 - June 2025 for: Egypt (marine conservation) - April 2025 Japan (agriculture) - May 2025 Ghana (social / community development) - June 2025 All participants will need to enroll on our NCFE Level 3 Championing Sustainability in the Workplace online course in order to be eligible for the fully funded volunteer placements overseas (this can be funded via an Advanced Learner Loan from the Student Loans Company).
