Main Duties and Responsibilities The post holder will: • Deliver structured ADI-R assessments remotely in line with national clinical guidance and best practice., • Conduct comprehensive developmental history interviews with parents, carers and/or individuals as part of the autism diagnostic process., • Gather and synthesise information from clinical interviews, questionnaires, behavioural observations and collateral information where available., • Use clinical judgement and professional expertise to contribute to diagnostic formulation using recognised frameworks such as DSM-5 / ICD-11., • Produce high-quality clinical reports summarising assessment findings and supporting diagnostic decisions., • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation on the clinical platform., • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) including psychologists, psychiatrists and other allied health professionals involved in the diagnostic pathway., • Communicate sensitively and effectively with patients, families and carers throughout the assessment process., • Identify and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with established procedures., • Participate in MDT case discussions and contribute to diagnostic decision-making., • Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection requirements., • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of autism assessment practice and participate in relevant professional development.
